Novae Underwriting

Novae Underwriting Limited (NUL) is our in-house Lloyd’s Service Company and is wholly owned by the Novae Group. It is an FSA authorised company (FSA No 311833).

It operates as a coverholder writing business on behalf certain underwriters at Lloyd’s. NUL has granted full risk transfer by these underwriters.

NUL is based in London but also has a branch office in Zurich.

NUL processes various business lines written by Novae that cannot be written directly into Syndicate 2007. The main areas of business written through NUL are UK regional liability business, Zurich-based reinsurance business and certain trade credit business. A high proportion of the direct business processed by NUL is written 100 per cent.
